Pyrotechnics Catapult

Our team gets to function pyrotechnics daily, design manufacturing processes and equipment, create a validation test plan and test the items we design. Our most recent success was the deployment of a Simulated Projectile Ground Burst (SPGB) or “Arti-Sim”, which is designed for training exercises to acclimatize warfighters to the sights and sounds of ground burst shelling.

Great to be at the DSEI event in London last week. The Canadian Pavilion, organized by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), was an ideal meeting spot. HFI Pyrotechnics had a full slate of productive discussions with new and existing contacts.

Keeping business’ doors open during the pandemic has been challenging, to say the least. Ontario’s HFI Pyrotechnics has not only been surviving but thriving this last year and a half. In fact, they’ve doubled growth over the last year, in terms of both revenue and headcount, and are on track to grow another 50% over the next year.

HFI Pyrotechnics Inc. announces USD 8M contract with US Navy

Edwardsburg/Cardinal, Ontario – HFI Pyrotechnics announces an $ 8 Million USD award from the US Navy as part of a five-year contract for the MK 25 MOD 4/5 for US Navy and US Air Force. The MK 25 MOD 4/5 is the latest advanced Marker, Location Marine search and rescue product used by the US Navy and other branches of the Department of Defense.

Canada’s First New Addition in Decades!

In today’s signing of Canada’s Strategic Sourcing Agreement, HFI Pyrotechnics becomes the first new company added to the Munitions Supply Program in almost 40 years as Canada’s Strategic Source and Centre of Excellence for pyrotechnics.
